Currently working on some motion graphics for an expedition to Chile to uncover the wreck of HMS Wager which sank in 1741 on the southern coast of Chile - looking good so far, even if I do say so myself, and the deadline looms...
Still keeping ridiculously busy with being continually behind the lens shooting footage for a part for Wolfstadt, a new DVD by The Harmony. The test premiere at the final of the Quiksilver Bowlriders in Malmo a couple of weeks back went down a treat, and with the formal deadline for the end of June apparently, there's still some motion graphics and titles to throw in the mix. This will be banging, trust me!
Aaaaaaaaaand, in more CMOAC developments, the current issue of Sidewalk has an article I wrote on Art, Skateboarding and Life, a collection of work/autobiography of former New Deal pro and designer/artist extraordinaire Andy Howell. As a young lad in the early 90s, I really looked up to Andy and his iconic work at New Deal, so I was psyched when asked to write this article, which turned out to be an informative trip down memory lane.
Props to Barrie and Paul at Hype Type in Middlesboro for the interview and background info; now go and buy the book from Workshop, more than worth it for the read alone, not to mention the inspiring artwork and the accompanying DVDs kept me going for hours...

If you came here via xtreme-net.org, skateboardmag.ru, skateboard.com.au or one of the many other sites linking here in the past few days, sorry, but I've had to ditch that Lisbon video clip hosted here as it's rinsed my monthly traffic in 2 days - maybe next month folks!! In the meantime, try Blip.tv or Google video instead...

Check out the alternate unused edit for the One For You, One For Me tour here on my site, or here on Blip.tv or even all the way over there on Google video. 220Mb, 18 minutes or so... Apparently, I'm a renaissance man now, heheh...

Sweet Jayziz, Paddy's Day's been and gone, Ireland lost the Six Nations, it's spring time already and the clocks go forward next weekend, fuck yes. Right so at long last, the One For You One For Me/Portugeezers tour has come out on DVD with ASM in Australia. Huzzaah! Only thing is that this was the final issue as those high flying farseeing execs went and put the mag to pasture, the fools.
Anyway, I'm still waiting on a few copies to make their way from Sydney and I'll eventually get round to whacking the full thing up on Google Video or something else that encourages free, online viewing of copyrighted material. It'd be rude not to.
About a year back, I started collecting my favourite footage for a little skate video showreel/retrospective thang, but then left it until last week. Had a peep at it the other day, and safe to say, it's time to pick some different footage, get the shit together and get the show on the road. In the meantime, I'm still out shooting skate footage for a fistful of upcoming DVDs and projects. Though sometimes it just doesn't always come together quite as you'd like... Clicky clicky...
