Savoir Faire
Savoir Faire DVD
Released in July 08, Savoir Faire was a skate video collaboration featuring some of the UK’s best talents in front of (and behind, heheh) the camera. I co-directed/edited, designed & created the motion graphics, identity, branding, DVD menu & cover design, promotional poster design, put together web content & trailers. A lot of work, but well worth it in the end!
Needless to say, I think it’s pretty good and well worth paying a fiver for from such fine stores as Native, Mischief, Slam City, Ideal, Note or such. That’s £5 pounds in notes. Anyway, check out this review from Crossfire and then have a gander over the extensive interview/article from the excellent men at Tweakerzine – run by a grip of media pros, they most definitely have the savoir faire. Oooof… Immerse yourself in the Savoir Faire blog for teasers, trailers and other assorted nonsense, you know it’s the only thing worth doing today.
Power Distribution took care of sales and all that jazz – Savoir Faire was/is available for £5 (plus P&P) from the following high street & online stores -
Mischief /// Focus /// Note /// Ideal /// Slam City /// Big Woody’s ///SS20 /// Native /// Ape Skates /// and many more…
Gadgets used – Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Encore, QT Pro, DVX100b, fat internet connection, fertile imagination.
